Politics has swallowed up our idealism, nobility and vitality. Spirituality in India has taken a back seat and, religious fanaticism is roaming all over. India will perish without spirituality. The ancient concept of ‘Sanatan Dharma’ has to be brought back with modern outlook.

In this hour of crisis, Sri Aurobindo’s Action West Bengal has been working ceaselessly and sincerely in the field of Child Education, Art of Parenting, Art of Teaching, Youth Work Shop, Work shop on Health a Healing, Science of Living, Study Circles on value oriented education, Publication of Value Oriented books/ literatures on the crises of life and solutions. These are the core areas of working.

Besides the above we are going to set up SRI AUROBINDO STATE INFORMATION CENTRE AND A STATE LEVEL OFFICE at VARNAPARICHAYA BOOK MALL (India’s biggest and integrated Book Mall), College Street, Kolkata to focus our activities from this ‘Source Centre’ itself. At initial stage it is a Project of 39 lakhs. It will be a tribute on behalf of Bengal to Sri Aurobindo who initiated a new movement of ‘Purna Swaraj ‘to make India free and to play her role in the making of New Civilization. And this is a place also from where Sri Aurobindo delivered his historical speech in 1909. Now we also ardently seek your expertise in any activity, mentioned above as heartiest collaboration in this hour of crisis all round.
